This year at Jones Chapel VBS, we'll be shining a light on Jesus’ love!
We'll launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.

VBS Station Leaders are working hard to prepare their lessons and decorations and the kitchen crew is working on our Galactic Snacks! This one week of your time could make a huge difference in kid's lives!!

Date— May 30 - June 2 (Tuesday-Friday)
Time— 6pm-8:45pm
Ages— SPACE CREWS: Kindergarten-6th grade (Space Crews will consist of mixed ages escorted by our adult Space Guides.)

COSMIC CAFE MENU

Day of Week—Main Dish, Dessert, Kool-Aid served daily.

Tuesday—Pancakes, sausage, and Ice Pops (Popsicles)
Wednesday—Nachos with taco meat, Nacho Chips, Taco Salad, Mini Moon Pies
Thursday–Smoked chicken, Mac and Cheese, and Cosmic Brownies
Friday—Pizza, chips, and Mini Ice Cream Sandwich

DEEP SPACE DRESS UP

What to wear... Each night the kids are invited to wear a fun or silly outfit that matches each night's theme.

Night One: Glow Night
When life feels dark, shine Jesus’s light!!! The light of Jesus makes us glow bright!! Wear anything bright and colorful and we will distribute lots of glow up accessories on this night. 

Night Two: 50’s Night 
When good things happen, shine Jesus’s light! Rock and roll with us as we have a blast learning how Jesus is the reason for every good thing, you dig?? Wear 50’s style clothes. 

Night Three: Space Night
When people are sad, shine Jesus’ light! There’s no need to be “lost” in space or on earth after learning about Jesus and His resurrection power!! Wear anything space themed. 

Night Four: Patriotic Night 
When people need help, shine Jesus’ light! The light of Jesus can shine across all the nations! Help us “lift off” and lift up as we learn how to “let your good deeds shine..”!! Wear anything patriotic.

“Deep Space Dress Up” is a fun way for VBS kids to get involved in the Stellar experience. It is optional, and kids are guaranteed a good time with or without their fun dress up days!!
