What We Believe

The Church of God does not have a man-made creed (set of beliefs).  We believe the Bible to be the holy inspired Word of God and our guide for faith and daily living.

We also believe in:

• The Trinity:  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
• The life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ which makes possible our salvation through the forgiveness of sin.
• The Body of Christ as all saved people.
• The Church as the place for the lost to find their way, where God is the answer for all our needs.
• Sanctification and Holiness resulting from full dedication of self to God.
• The Resurrection of the dead and Judgment Day when Christ returns.
• Eternal Life in Heaven for those who have accepted the free gift of salvation and have continued to live the Christian life.
