Come check out our Children’s Worship Service in the Family Life Center at Jones Chapel. That’s right! Kids will have their very own service on Sunday mornings filled with worship, prayer, lessons and activities geared directly to them! It will be similar to a mini VBS every Sunday!! And here is how it will work:

Kids will be checked in at the entrance to the Family Life Center. All children will be assigned to a small group Tribe Tent and leader specific to their age group. Groups will be divided into 3-4 years old, K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd-4th, and 5th-6th. Kids start out the morning with their Small Group Tribe and Leader for opening discussion and introduction of the theme for the day. Kids will then head into a large group session for worship and message. They will close out the morning back with their Tribe Tent for closing activities and to get ready for check-out. They will do this each Sunday except the days when kids attend church with their parents.

Can you see it? All of our kids on Sunday mornings worshiping to videos of music that they love, hearing a message on their level, and hands-on activities reinforcing all of it! It’s going to be so great! I hope you will grab your board or float or raft or whatever to ride these waves with me! Because realistically, this only happens if we are all, all-in. Are you ready to invest in the children of Jones Chapel? Are you ready to see more kids make a decision to follow Christ? I need your help to make this work. Please consider volunteering for this new endeavor.  I need you! Opportunities for service include:

Small Group Leader:  Each Tribe Tent needs a Leader. At least four Leaders will serve in each session (divided up between Sundays kids attend church with their parents.) Curriculum is provided and the main teaching is done by me in large group session. These leaders must sign up for a specific Session.

Media Volunteer:  This person will run our video and sound. This person can rotate any and every Sunday if necessary.

Runners: I will need two each week. These volunteers can be adults or youth. They will be running kids and supplies and any other assistance needed. These can also rotate in and out any Sunday.
